Difference Between Store Price and Online Store Price

The product pricing policy of Theoprofil Group is not the same for the Agia Paraskevi, Phthiotida store and the online store. General Product Disclaimers – Consumer Goods Warranty Issues

Directive 99/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 May 1999 on certain aspects of the sale of consumer goods and associated guarantees.

The directive concerns the legal guarantee and commercial guarantees.

The concept of the legal guarantee concerns the legal protection of the buyer against defects in purchased products. This legal protection has been made mandatory by law and does not depend on the contract. The directive thus establishes the principle of conformity of the product with the terms of the contract. By way of example, we refer to the buyer’s right to demand repair, replacement of the product, reduction of the price or withdrawal from the contract (Withdrawal Statement), requesting a refund, due to an actual defect in the product or lack of an agreed property for a period of two (2) years from the date of delivery.

The concept of a commercial guarantee, on the other hand, presupposes the expression of the will of a person, the guarantor, who becomes responsible for certain defects. The consumer has the right to request repair if a product develops an actual defect during the warranty period, as well as temporary replacement of the product for as long as its repair lasts, if the required repair time for the product under warranty exceeds 15 working days.

The directive does not use the terminology of legal and commercial guarantees. When the term “guarantee” is used, it covers only commercial guarantees defined as follows: “any undertaking by the seller or producer to the consumer, without additional charge, to refund the price paid, replace, repair or otherwise deal with the goods in any way where the consumer goods do not meet the characteristics set out in the guarantee statement or relevant advertising”.

Consumer goods means any tangible movable item, except: goods sold by way of enforcement or otherwise by authority of law, water and gas where they are not packaged for sale in a limited volume or set quantity, and electricity.

All products purchased by us through the respective representatives for the Greek and European market do not necessarily have commercial warranty – support from the respective importer – distributor. There are products that have a commercial warranty and others that do not. In any case, Theoprofil can inform you, upon request, which products in its range have or do not have a warranty. Customers can contact us for the contact details of the respective representatives. Also, in case our customers have problems with the respective representatives, they can contact us by email at info@theoprofil.com. Of course, they can also deliver the product to us so that we can send it to the respective representative.

Other products offered by theoprofil.com that are imported or manufactured by us have a warranty and technical support from us.
